I don&#039;t think he nomination is all that controversial, its just the Republican making a fuss. Apparently (wikipedia) John Kerry tried to filibuster Alito&#039;s nomination during Bush 2.0&#039;s time. That&#039;s to say, the Dem&#039;s get hairy about nominations too.</description>
